Golden Oryx

The Golden Oryx (Golden Gemsbok) is just a variation/mutation in color from the regular Oryx (Gemsbok).

Golden Oryx is a uniquely adaptable animal. They live primarily in open ground and can survive even in the harshest environments such as extreme desert areas. It originates from the Kalahari, and can survive without water for months – only consuming the liquid it absorbs through its food.

A female Golden Oryx tend to be slightly less in body size, while the horns are slimmer and usually longer than males.
